As a youngster I grew up watching the occasional Dr Who from behind the sofa as the Daleks and Cybermen terrorised the nation. Out from the tardis (there was a blue police box at a major junction close by my house in those days which brought the reality even closer) came doctors including John Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylverster McCoy. I didn't really understand then as a kid - I just got a thrill out of being scared, I guess; and after returning to watch the first part of the end of the tenth doctor, played by David Tennant, I have to say I still don't get it!

The manic laughter, screaming and long drawn-out scenes where nothing happens have compounded my view that it's just not Star Wars, is it!? I mean, at least with Star Wars you knew where you stood. You appreciated the struggle between good and evil, the sheer scale of the universe, the relevance of the family and support of friends, the wisdom of elders and the youthful adventure, and watched in awe the glorious battle scenes.

Yes, all in all, I have to admit to feeling that as much as I'd love to get into Dr Who, I find myself 'wanting', empty and slightly bored of the thin plots, hollow effects and undue hype. Now, where did I leave my lightsaber?

Last weekend I went camping with some friends just outside Arrochar on Loch Long at Ardgarten campsite. Having never been to this particular site, and more a fan of wild camping, I was pleasantly surprised to find such a friendly, clean and well-equipped place.

On the beautiful crisp, clear evening that was our first night we set-up camp, un-corked a couple of bottles of beer and gazed in wonder at the Milky Way overhead! Jupiter was very bright in the South, the Plough guiding the way clearly to Polaris in the North.

We spotted the ISS (International Space Station) pass overhead, and several meteors flared-up in the blink of an eye in various locations across the night sky. Cassiopeia pointed out the Andromeda galaxy - the furthest object you can see with the naked eye at 2.4million light years away(!), and gracefully swooping open-winged across the sky was Cygnus the swan as the Summer Triangle clutched onto the last few weeks of its visibility as we approach the winter.

It's at moments like those that you wish you brought a proper camera and not an iPhone as I had, but the mental picture of that spectacular view of the universe will remain for a long time.

You need to be very cautious when selecting a resume writing service as anybody can put up a sign that they write resumes. In fact 1 company that secretly positions itself “#1” really sends the resumes abroad to be produced and produces very awful broken English resumes. Other companies providing resume help deliver nothing more than a prettier format of what you have.

So here’s how the industry works and what you should look for when selecting a company to take resume writing help.

1) Avoid resume writing service that say they partner with Monster, Career Builder or The Wall Street Journal. All that means is that they pay a royalty to the job boards for every sale and they are doing a very large volume of business. That means they use cookie cutter templates to produce a resume, so unless you are comfortable with that, find someone who will spend the time to understand how you are unique.

2) How does the web site look? If they cannot systematize their web site and make it look eye-catching, then they can’t do that for your resume. However, this is not the only measure to use.

3) The resume writing firm should have some credentials. The most common one is the Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) designation that indicates they have at least passed some level of competency.

4) Check out their samples. If you don’t like their samples, you without doubt won’t like their work. Look to see if they are concentrating on skills and accomplishments as oppose to producing cute resumes that just list job responsibilities.

5) Do they offer a guarantee? A good service will stand behind their work and offer to revise your resume for free if it is not working. You’ll want to choose a resume writing service that stands behind their product.

6) Ask about the price. Yes, the price is important but not as important as getting a resume that works. The difference between a mediocre resume and a great one can be as little as $100 (the cost of a dinner out). This is one of the most important documents in your career, so it makes sense to spend what it takes to get a resume that you know will work.
The Internet is an amazing thing, but it has allowed anyone to offer resume writing services, regardless of their background. Use this 5-point checklist and you will be guaranteed to choose the right resume writing service for you.

When ever you typed How to write a dissertation in any search engine it shows two obvious things.

1.You have to write a big document of over 20000 words
2.You don’t know exactly what or how you gonna do it

So,if you have come to this article so far, in hope of getting the answer of the question mentioned above; you won’t be disappointed, as you will at least find some useful advice that will make you aware of the path you have to follow in order to complete your dissertation project.

This basic but important part of your dissertation writing is choosing a topic for your dissertation writing project. Choosing topic is not an easy task at all. Finding something unique is the irritating point itself. The first question comes in our mind is: What in the earth is unique when we have studied so much about this thing?

Here is the solution: First of all chose the subject which interests you most. Then analyze this subject and see in which area it is more controversial or debatable. Pick some points from that area and start evaluating it, from both acceptable and non-acceptable side.

You really don’t have to invent something extra ordinary unique for your dissertation. Just pick some point, yes a single point and start evolving it into a separate topic.

After you have chosen your topic, you have to write a dissertation proposal. The purpose of this writing is to convince your dissertation committee that the topic that you have chosen is worth to write more than 20000 words on it.

When finally your dissertation proposal gets approved, your main thesis writing work begins. First thing to ask your dissertation adviser is the format of dissertation. After you get the format of dissertation, break your dissertation into following traditional sections of theses.

1. Title
2. Acknowledgments
3. Abstract (The length of the Abstract should be no more than 300-500 words, but not included in the formal word count.)
4. Contents
5. Chapter 1: Introduction
The length of the Introduction should be about 10% of the whole dissertation.
6. Chapter 2: Literature search
7. Chapter 3: Methodology
The Research Methodology chapters in length should be about 20% of whole dissertation.
8. Chapter 5: Analysis or discussion (The length of this section should be about 30% of the whole dissertation.)
9. Chapter 4: Results
10.Chapter 6: Conclusions (This chapter in lengths should be about 15% of the whole dissertation)
11. References Or Bibliography
12. Appendix

The main purpose of these academic writing is to prepare students to be original. These jobs required students to present something new and original and take first step to contribute something new in pre existing knowledge. But this doesn’t mean you start copying other people’s ideas and research and make some changes in it and claim it as your study. You may get some coursework help from others but If you ever copy from some past documents, then you have to mention the original source.

Concentrate on the each section individually except those which are connected together like Reference and bibliography. With this approach you are able to complete your dissertation project successfully.

Not quite sure what to put in to a blog. I am used to being paid and told to write in a specific way, it is hard to put things down in a casual manner. I'll gee it a bash nevertheless. Has anyone seen the new Kit Kat billboard? It is fantastic. "My Chunky just got Funky! " I bet it did! loving the work there. On a sidenote, there was a wee punter on Sky News today that was a "Entertainment" editor for a national paper (apparently) that was referring to the beetles as "fab". He must have used the word about five times. "The beatles are fab! Their music is still fab! A new generation of listeners will think it's fab! The fact my chunky just got funky is fab!" - Maybe not the last one, but you get my skeptical point. On another sidenote (what is side on to a sidenote?)....On a middleish note, you certainly learn in life why ex-girlfriends are ex-girlfriends when you try and go back out with them. Some things in life should just be left the way they were, a bit like Opal Fruits before they turned into Starbursts, or big brother before it got shit....you mean it was decent to start with I hear you ask? If I wanted to watch a bunch of tits sit about in a house doin nothin i'd watch Prime Minister's question time (ba da boom tishhh!) Anyway, away out to get myself a Kit Kat Chunky, stick pins into my voodoo doll and submit my BB application form. toodles x

IT Solutions Primer

In the developing industry of the internet, people have learned and got accustomed to being

reliant to the information that can usually be found in the internet today. Some of the most

wanted information doesn’t come for free and so in order to be able to understand some of

them, there will be times that a cash obligation comes around. This is true most of the time

but with what the internet can offer for people who knows how to look for the perfect and

free information, everything else is easy as pie. IT solutions speaking, there are a very wide

variety of information and data sheets that sometime in order for you to arrive at will require

the skill to look for them. They are important and they must be found so here are a few free

shortcuts and features that you might be interested to have but only in terms of importance.

Computer Hardware and Software Tips

There is very big difference between a computer hardware and software tip. While software

goes as the unseen and cannot-be-held physical component in the computing industry, the other

is that which can be virtually hand held and determined in terms of specifics and standards

that are set by their manufacturers. The use of software is an essential and integral part of a

computer and therefore is always a must in order to run data or display one in the right

platform.

Usually, software has tutorials and information like Linux Tutorials, MS DHCP servers, CSS,

Microsoft, Windows and they mostly come with one as a guide for the users and they mostly

coincide to be a requirement before you can use any hardware, otherwise, malfunction in the

same hardware can take over anytime. Aside from this fact, hardware on the other hand is

actually a helping aid for the computer so that things don’t get messed up forcing the virtual

parts, especially the motherboard of the computer to function over an abused condition. In

simple words, hardware helps the computer to lighten, ease out or even out the load and well

distributes it into its own physical components like the mother board, video card, LAN card,

sound card, memory and so on. When troubles occur by misuse of either component, the need

for computer repair tips or the repair person gets in.

Web Development and Web Site Design

Web development is that part of the internet industry which is responsible for all the

revolutionary changes that have happened in the past 10 years that contributed to the

technology development at the same time. One aspect of the web development is the coming

of the web design era which greatly helped a lot in improving the online business in a globally

accepted standard that comply with the WWW or the world wide web standards or the W3C or

the World Wide Web Consortium.

Web Site Designing and Development

Web design since then became a clear manifestation of the advancement and fast improvement

of online business arising from the need to make quality businesses appear as professional as

they can be with prospect clients as well as visitors who come using the internet. Today,

there are so many standards that accompanied the improvement of web site design standards

and I must admit that they aggressively helped a lot of webmasters develop their own set of

visions by combining aesthetics with standards to form the best looking websites of today.

Computer Software and Hardware Repair Tips

Upon the development of the web and its corresponding major role players which are the

software and hardware, the development and the need for the right knowledge that will handle

all the right actions arise. What I am referring to is the need to cope up with the need to

cut costs in case of problems with the use of a technology that enables qualified service men

to make repair for certain problems that require software and hardware knowledge. Hence, the

computer hardware and software repair came to the rescue and just in time for the pouring

problems brought about by the aging technology which in the computing industry is fast as the

lightning bolt.

Last weekend (23rd and 24th May 2009) I was at the Southside Festival in Glasgow's Queens Park. Organised by the local community, it's a celebration of the cultural diversity and community spirit found in the Southside. A plethora of music, dance, arts and crafts were on diplsay with stacks of activity to take part in for young and old alike. It was fun.

I guess it's a reflection of the success of the West End Festival that the Southside Festival has sprung up. And indeed, the West End Festival has grown rapidly over the last 14years! This year, it spans Friday 12th June through to Sunday 28th June, with Sunday 14th highlighted as 'Festival Sunday' when tens of thousands are expected to descend on the carnival of events centred around Byres Road.

More than 200 events are crammed into two weeks with plenty for families and friends to indulge in - from comedy to theatre, walks and trails to live music and fairs.

You might also be interested in the Glasgow University Science Festival with activities organised for all ages at Glasgow University running from 2nd May to 18th June, 2009.

I am doing my MBA from Ireland in international business. I have worked with construction industry for couple of years including a stint in gulf area and I needed to submit my dissertation this semester. I have a special interest in business development and wanted some suggestions for <a href="http://www.dissertation-help.co.uk/dissertation_topics.htm">choosing a topic for dissertation</a> specifically focusing the Ireland industry. I was browsing through the website when I found this dissertation help website providing dissertation writing help. I didn’t know that they also offer help with dissertation writing along with FREE <a href="http://www.dissertation-help.co.uk/dissertation_topics.htm">dissertation topic</a>. Anyway, here is the <a href="http://www.dissertation-help.co.uk/dissertation_topics.htm">list of good dissertation topics</a> they sent me after my request:

1. The economic impact, the Ireland health care business creates by hiring nurses from second world countries to help provide relief to the current nursing shortage here.

2. Business and Financial Analysis of a domestic business in Ireland expanding towards International Trade.

3. Impact of IT development in FMCG sector

My supervisor really liked the first topic and now I am writing a dissertation on it. The free <a href="http://www.dissertation-help.co.uk/dissertation_topics.htm">dissertation topics</a> service really helped me in getting off with my dissertation writing quickly. I would like to know other people experiences on that…
